A driver is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was ejected from his vehicle during a crash in the South Cariboo Thursday.
RCMP say the older Jeep Cherokee went off Highway 97 just north of 100 Mile House around 8:30 p.m.
The driver was initially taken to local hospital before being transported to Vancouver General Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Police say there were several complaints about the driver’s actions shortly before the crash occurred.
Investigators believe speed is a factor in the collision while alcohol has not been ruled out.
