Emergency Response Team and Explosive Disposal Unit called to Prince George home this morning

Prince George RCMP have given the all clear sign for residents to return home.

The police investigated a house on Ahbau Street in Prince George this morning for firearms related charges.

During the investigation, the police cordoned off the area one block from Ahbau Street to 10th Avenue to Chilako Avenue for two and a half hours.

Homes next to the property were evacuated.

As part of the ongoing investigation, a 24 year old man and a 23 year old woman were arrested outside the residence yesterday night.

Both are residents of Prince George, known to police and are expected to face firearms related charges.

This morning’s investigation involved a number of police agencies, including the North District’s Emergency Response Team and Explosive Disposal Unit.
