An evacuation order previously issued around Lang Lake and Murhpy Lake has been downgraded to an alert.
66 properties were effected by the order, but residents can now return home.
The Cariboo Regional District says that, while wildfires are still active in the area, there is no immediate threat to the properties.
For directions on how to return home, visit the District’s website here.
The area will remain under an evacuation alert, which means residents should remain prepared to evacuate again should an order be issued.
