The family of a missing Prince George man wants to know what happened to their loved one.
Fifty-one-year-old Maxwell Mayling has been missing for three months and Prince George RCMP believe foul play may have been involved.
There have been no recent leads in the investigation. Maxwell moved to Prince George from Fort St. John a year ago.
His brother, Archer, says he’s a caring man and would do anything for anyone.
Maxwell’s niece read a statement on behalf of his daughter who was too distraught to attend the press conference.
Maxwell’s mother and long time friend also pleaded for anyone to come forward.
Superintendent Warren Brown says investigators believe someone knows what happened to Maxwell.
Mayling is described as First Nations, 5’9″ tall, weighing 180 lbs, with brown eyes, has salt and pepper hair and wears glasses.
His car was found in downtown Prince George with no signs of him.
Police say he did have run-ins with authorities since 2007 with central and northeastern BC RCMP.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Prince George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
