The provincial and federal governments have come to terms on a lengthy affordable housing agreement.
The deal, announced yesterday, is a 10 year plan that will see the federal government invest 990 million dollars.
Spending under the deal will be focused on protecting, renewing, and expanding social and community housing.
BC Housing Minister Selina Robinson says the funding will help out with a pre-existing plan to build 114 thousand new affordable housing units.
