The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine has implemented an evacuation order for homes near a wildfire in the Telegraph Creek area.
The BC Wildfire Service says the Alkali Lake fire is now six hectares in size and 300 metres from the closest home.
The evacuation order covers an area west of Sawmill Lake along Highway 51 to Glenora.
