The first public consultation on the future governing of Thornhill takes place today.
The consultations look to examine public opinion on whether or not to change Thornhill to a stand-alone municipality, keep it as an electoral area, or amalgamate it with the City of Terrace.
Individual open door consultations will take place at the Thornhill Community Centre between 2 and 5 in the afternoon for those looking to gather further information and discuss possibilities.
A public meeting and presentation will also take place at the Community Centre at 7:00 this evening, where surveys will be available.
Surveys can be completed online or in person.
You can find full information on the study at this link.
