An early morning house fire yesterday called emergency crews in Prince Rupert in to action.
Both RCMP and firefighters responded to the fire on the 500 block of 8th Avenue West just after 4:00 yesterday morning.
There were five individuals in the home at the time of the fire, but all managed to escape safely before crews arrived.
Crews are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire, but they do not suspect any foul play.
