Flood Watch continued for northern rivers

Officials continue to keep a close watch on rivers in the BC Central Interior.
The BC River Forecast Centre has maintained a Flood Watch for the Bulkley River near Smithers.

Warm weather for most of the week with the possibility of rain by Thursday could see flow levels increase on the weekend.

The centre has also maintained a Flood Watch for the Nautley River near Fort Fraser and the Nechako River at Vanderhoof.

With current weather conditions, water flows along the Nautley and Stellako Rivers and Francois Lake are expected to remain steady for the next three days.

The river forecast centre says the uncertainty about the amount of precipitation in the forecasts could mean that flows may change substantially by Wednesday.
