After more than 3 years of legal battles, a Fort St John man accused of promoting ISIS has been deported from Canada.
Othman Hamdan was originally arrested in 2015 in relation to Facebook posts he made promoting ISIS and praising lone wold terrorist attacks.
Hamdan was acquitted of the terrorism charges by the BC Supreme Court last year, but was recently arrested by the Canada Border Services Agency.
Now, the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada has ruled that Hamdan is a danger to the security of Canada and have branded him inadmissable.
Hamdan will be deported upon his release from custody.
