Fort St John RCMP are hoping to identify five young people involved in the theft of a school bus last month.
The bus was stolen from the School District 60 transportation parking lot around midnight August 26.
Surveillance footage obtained from the bus shows five young people, two females and three males.
The bus received $5000 worth of damage before it was found parked outside of town by police.
“These youth look like they had a good time and we are convinced they spoke to others about this incident,” said Cst Chad NEUSTAETER. “If you or someone you know has information about what happened or who these youth are, please contact the Fort St John RCMP. Incidents like this can become very dangerous, placing youths lives at risk.”
The bus was repaired and ready for use before the first day of school.
