Orange Shirt Day is taking place tomorrow.
The annual event is to honour and remember children who were in the residential school system and to educate others on it.
Phyllis Webstad’s story of how she had her orange shirt taken away while at residential school started the conversation.
She says it means a lot that the event has grown every year.
Webstad says people should know the stories of survivors.
This is the fourth year Orange Shirt Day has taken place.
