Fundraiser set-up following tragic accident on Highway 16 near Moricetown

Family and friends are rallying around a Terrace couple after a tragic accident last Friday on Highway 16 near Moricetown.

Relatives of David and Kimberley Hall have created a GoFundMe page following the crash that killed David and severely injured Kimberley.

Kimberly was pregnant and had to be airlifted to New Westminster so her baby could be delivered prematurely.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on March 10th on Highway 16 west of Moricetown. A semi struck a moose which then pushed the animal into the path of the Hall’s on-coming pick up. The pick up went into a ditch, coming to rest on its roof.

Hall’s family has undertaken the fundraiser to help ensure their new born son gets a good start in life.

Kimberly and the baby are recovering in hospital in New Westminister.

Within a few days, over $38,000 has been raised.

A link to the GoFundMe page can be found here.
