7 of the 13 Wet’suwet’en land defenders taken to Prince George court after being arrested at the Gidimt’en access point on Monday have been released.
Among those released was Gidimt’en spokesperson Molly Wickham, who shared some of the traumatic experiences faced during the RCMP breach.
These were just some of the experiences shared by Wickham in her emotional address.
Wickham went on to say that she was torn apart by the fact that she couldn’t be at the Unist’ot’en camp today to support her people, but that she couldn’t leave behind those still in custody.
A court date for those arrested during Monday’s RCMP breach has been set for February 4th in Prince George.
