An independant review of BC’s wholesale liquor distribution system has been commissioned by the government.
Liquor policy advisor Mark Hicken made a recommendation to review the system following industry concerns revealed in his recent report to government.
An outside consultant will be selected to undertake the review in the new year, after the Liquor Distribution Branch has transitioned to its new Delta facility.
Each year, the branch fills more than 335 thousand wholesale orders to more than 10 thousand different customers.
