The Guide Outfitters Association of BC is concerned for the lack of moose kill inspectors.
Executive Director Scott Ellis is concerned there aren’t enough certified inspectors available for the compulsory inspections in the Skeena, and Cariboo-Chicoltin areas.
He says this could provide trouble for out of town hunters.
Ellis agrees that the inspections can help keep count of the moose but wants to ensure the proper resources are there.
The province says they are looking into this issue and ensure that proper resources are available.
