Highway 16 has reopened to traffic west of New Hazelton
The route was closed this morning after a hydro pole fire left lines down on the road, although there was a detour available.
BC Hydro says the initial outage affected about 900 customers from Kitwanga to the Hazeltons, but all have since been restored.
