A young man riding on a bus between Kamloops and Williams Lake was robbed yesterday afternoon.
The victim said a man approached him and demanded his money.
When he refused, the suspect feigned that he may have a weapon.
The young man then handed over his money to the suspect.
When the bus reached 100 Mile House, the victim phoned police, who then attended bus depot.
A 27 year old man was subsequently arrested.
Charges are pending and the 27 year old man is presently being held in custody for a bail hearing later today.
Upon arrest it was also discovered that the suspect had just recently been released from custody and was on numerous conditions that he must abide by, which he has clearly failed to do.
