A woman is lucky to be alive after falling off a cliff near Terrace on Tuesday.
The unidentified woman was hiking with three friends east of Terrace when she fell from a nearly 100 foot cliff.
Terrace Search and Rescue were able to respond quickly to the accident and extract the woman via helicopter on a spinal board.
The woman reportedly broke both legs as well as various other injuries.
She is currently at Mills Memorial Hospital awaiting transfer to Vancouver.
