Families in the Terrace area are being sought to host international students coming to Coast Mountain College this fall.
Canada Homestay Network Managing Director Jennifer Wilson says homes are needed for a group of Mexican students attending the college for four weeks starting November 24th.
Wilson says opening your home to an international student gives families an opportunity to learn about other cultures and see their hometown through the eyes of another.
Wilson says there is a stipend of $775 for the four weeks to help offset costs like food and 24/7 support available.
Families interested in hosting an international student in Terrace this fall can contact the Canada Homestay Network at 1-877-441-4443 at extension 2176.
