One group is taking issue with the BC government’s referendum process.
The Independant Contractorsand Business Association had their lawyers in front of the BC Supreme Court yesterday to call for a delay in the upcoming electoral reform referendum.
According to the Association, the process leading up to the vote has been rushed and over-complicated.
As a result, the group is suing the government in an attempt to have them add and alter balloting questions as well as extend the timeline.
The ICBA says that they represent people who support both ends of the spectrum when it comes to reform, but that the government has limited the debate and confused voters.
The ICBA represents more than 23 hundred businesses.
