Investigators have wrapped up their probe of a fatal fire in a First Nations community near Williams Lake.
RCMP say there was nothing criminal about the cause of a fire that killed and 18 year-old boy on the Sugar Cane Reserve January 10th.
Police and fire crews from 150 Mile House were called out to the T’exelc (Williams Lake Indian Band) community east of Williams Lake shortly after 7:30 that morning.
The victim was a member of a neighbouring First Nation.
Williams Lake RCMP say the BC Coroners Service has conduct of the investigation.
The cause of the fire has not been released and RCMP say no further information will be made available.
