The Liberal Party of Canada will form a majority government.
The Liberals are leading or elected in 183 ridings across the country, while the Conservatives will form the Official Opposition with a projected 102 seats.
The NDP, after making big gains in the 2011 election, took a big hit at the polls, dropping to 42 seats.
The Bloc Quebecois picked up 10 seats, while Green Party Leader Elizabeth May was returned to parliament.
Incumbent for Skeena-Bulkley Valley, Nathan Cullen, will hold on to his seat with a comfortable lead.
There don’t appear to be any changes in store for other northern BC ridings. The Conservative Party of Canada appears it will retain seats in Cariboo-Prince George and Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies.
