The Kispiox Rodeo and Music Festival is cracking down on rowdy attendees.
Joy Allen is the president of the Kispiox Valley Rodeo Club.
She says last year some attendees treated the festival as their personal party site.
Allen says they’re fine with people having drinks around their campfire and having a good time, as long as they’re not disturbing their neighbours.
Underage drinking, destructive parties, and excessive alcohol consumption were cited as major concerns.
Allen says there will be increased security this year, and those who were identified as causing problems last year, will be denied access to the festival.
This year, vehicles will also have to submit to a search or risk being denied entry to the festival.
