Kitimat and Prince Rupert had to wait a bit longer than most for their New Year’s babies.
Neither of the two communities saw their first births of 2019 until yesterday, with Prince Rupert having an especially long wait.
In Kitimat, Leslie and Brandon Highton welcomed daughter Liv Marlene in to the world at just after 5:00 yesterday morning.
Prince Rupert had to wait until 9:11 last night for parents Raven Stevens and Ivan Lincoln to be graced by son Rylen.
