Kitimat crash kills Victoria man

Kitimat RCMP says speed, alcohol, and lack of seatbelt use are believed to be factors in a fatal crash.

Police were called out shortly after 11:30 Sunday night for a rollover along the Bish Creek Forest Service Road.

Investigators say driver of the southbound vehicle lost control at the 7 km mark of the road and was ejected when the truck crashed.

The 27 year-old Victoria man was treated at the scene but was pronounced dead at Kitimat General Hospital.

RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating.
