New agreements made between the Haisla Nation and the Kitimat Museum will help improve a collaborative relationship which has stood since 1972.
This weekend, the pair signed off on a refreshed Memorandum of Understanding which will see both gain further access to new materials and literature.
As part of the agreement, the Museum will now have permission to use Haisla published materials and a territorial map for a new exhibit.
In return, the Haisla Nation Council will gain access to documents and images held by the museum from as far back as 1969.
The agreement only strengthens an already robust relationship which has seen the two collaborate numerous times in the past.
