Members of the Kitimat RCMP and Fire Department will be teaming up tomorrow to help better educate drivers on the rules of the road.
An educational checkstop will be set up outside the fire hall, where police and firefighters will be speaking to drivers regarding the safe observation of emergency equipment, lights, and vehicles on the roads.
Residents are invited to stop by, visit with personnel, and ask any questions they may have.
The checkpoint is an effort to ensure drivers are prepared for the increase in emergency events observed during the winter months.
