Crews have contained 45 per cent of a huge wildfire burning near Prince George, but weather conditions could whip up the flames.
The Wildfire Management Branch says convective activity with the chance of erratic wind conditions could see the Little Bobtail Lake fire’s behaviour increase as several areas remain dry.
Information Officer Melissa Klassen is warning people to stay out of the evacuation alert and order areas.
Klassen says they’re hoping to see some more rain in the forecast, but conditions remain quite dry.
The wildfire has burned approximately 250 square kilometres of forest southwest of Prince George.
