Terrace Community Services and the Long Term Care team have united to improve the Long Term Care system in the city.
The city is now seeing impressive results from a process stemming from a Reassessment review from 2014.
Over the past 2 years, the Long Term Care Team in Terrace has managed to make a massive dent in the number of clients overdue for reassessment.
In November of 2016, the unit was looking at 26.4 percent overdue clients.
That number has dropped to just 2.9 percent as of last month, despite an increase in overall clients.
The team is proud of the improvement, but are looking to get even better with their Frail Elderly Project that will provide even quicker alerts and response times.
