It’s been three years since a Fort St. James area woman went missing and RCMP are still looking for clues in the disappearance of Immaculate Mary (Mackie) Basil.
Mackie was last seen walking on a forestry road in the mid-morning hours of June 13th, 2013.
Corporal Dave Tyreman with North District RCMP says Mackie and two others left a Tachie house party the night before and headed to a local cabin.
RCMP have no information that makes them think Mackie met with foul play, but Tyreman says police can’t rule out that possibility.
Police say her disappearance has taken its toll on her community and her family, including her son.
With the three-year anniversary of her disappearance, Tyreman says investigators are hoping someone can provide a vital clue.
Mackie Basil was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red maple leaf on it, grey Capri jogging pants, and white running shoes.
