A man is facing a list of charges after failing to stop for police in Prince George.
RCMP say it happened Monday night when a vehicle was spotted with no insurance and inactive licence plates in an alley near Tamarack Street and 20th Avenue.
Officers say the vehicle ignored the cruiser with their lights and sirens on. The man then attempted to get away and collided with an utility trailer and fence.
The suspect was then arrested without incident in a driveway on Upland Street about a block away with the help of their police dog.
The suspect had a knife, small amount of methamphetamine and a loaded firearm magazine.
It was later determined the vehicle the man was using was stolen a few days earlier.
Now, 25-year-old Keenan Frank Sam faces eight charges, include failing to stop for police, operating a vehicle dangerously and possession of a controlled substance and ammunition.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone to contact them or Crime Stoppers with information.
