A 32 year-old man is missing after he fell into a northern B.C. river over the weekend.
RCMP say Terrance Paul Junior was walking with friends along the train bridge above the Quesnel River shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police say Paul fell from the bridge and ended up in the water where the Quesnel and Fraser Rivers meet.
Two friends search the river while another went for help.
Search and rescue personnel along with an RCMP helicopter were called to the scene, but police say they have yet to find any trace of Paul.
RCMP say river conditions have hampered search efforts. The ground search along the river bank has been suspended due to dangerously high water levels.
