Prince George RCMP have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that left a dog dead and a person wounded last weekend.
Investigators believe two men exchanged gunfire outside a home, including one of the men first thought to be the victim of the shooting.
Mounties say 20 year-old Michael Campbell-Alexander is charged with attempted murder, unlawfully killing an animal, and firearms offences.
RCMP are trying to track down a 31 year-old man in connection with the case who may be in the Quesnel area.
Cody Aubrey Lorntsen is a Prince George resident, but Mounties say he is originally from Quesnel and may have returned to the community.
Lorntsen is described as Caucasian male, standing 5’9″ tall, weighing 170 lbs with hazel eyes, short brown hair, and a number of tattoos including by each eye, on his neck, and on each forearm.
RCMP say Lornsten should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached
