The City of Prince Rupert says a major infrastructure project will likely take 4-6 weeks to finish.
Crews are starting work Monday on the McBride Street watermain replacement between 6th and 8th Avenue.
The watermain project will be followed by full replacement of pavement in the area.
Officials are reminding residents to obey all signs and traffic controllers.
