Metlakatla First Nations students will now have a way to get to school.
Transportation from the First Nations community was cut earlier this year due to budget restraints at the Prince Rupert School District.
Superintendent Sandra Jones says funding from the ministry and partners coming together made this happen.
Jones says that it can be difficult finding the funds to ensure everyone can get a dependable ride to school.
The school district is hoping to use some of the left over money from the funding to lower prices of bus passes for students taking public transit in Prince Rupert.
