Today, UNBC announced their keynote speaker for the 4th annual UNBC Timberwolves Legacy Breakfast.
On Monday, February 19th, longtime Canadian Tv personality for Bell Media Michael Landsberg will headline the event.
Landsberg has never been the one to shy away from anything, especially his own battles with mental health.
Other keynote speakers who have attended the event include, woman’s hockey legend Hayley Wickenheiser, CFL Hall of Famer Michael Pinball Clemons and former NHL’er Theo Fleury.
Loralyn Murdoch is the director of athletics and recreation for UNBC and she says “We are incredibly excited to welcome Michael Landsberg, as he shares his important message at the Legacy Breakfast”
Murdoch hopes to see more students visit the health and wellness center after hearing Landsberg’s story.
In its three-year history, the Timberwolves Legacy Breakfast has raised more than $140,000 for UNBC student-athletes.
Tickets are $90 for an individual seat, or $900 for a table of eight. Other ticking options are also available at www.unbc.ca/events
