A couple of northern B.C. airlines are bringing back a seasonal route to Dease Lake.
Hawkair and Northern Thunderbird Air say the Miner’s Express between Terrace and Dease Lake will make 3 flights a week starting June 1st.
The route will be serviced by Northern Thunderbird’s 18-seat Beech 1900 aircraft.
The flight schedule will allow guests to make connections with Hawkair flights to and from Vancouver.
The airlines say they’ve received a tremendous amount of requests to bring back the service from the mining community and the Stikine region.
