The Prince George RCMP are investigating a number of violent offences that took place over the past few days.
On Tuesday at around 11:55pm, a food delivery driver was robbed at an address on Goheen Place.
When he approached a waiting woman to deliver the food, a man came up from behind and put what was described as a knife to his throat.
The suspects took his cash and food, then fled towards Forest Place.
Police including a Police Dog Service team attended the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
The male suspect was described as:
– First Nations
– 25 to 30 years old
– 173 cm (5’8″)
– Medium build
– Wearing a white hoody under a black jacket
The female suspect was described as:
– Brown hair in a pony tail
– Wearing a red jacket with a dark stripe
The victim was shaken but otherwise unharmed.
At approximately 9:30am yesterday, police were called to an armed robbery at a service station near the corner of Highway 16 and Range Road.
When officers arrived, they found out the robber had actually occured earlier at around 3:20am.
A man entered the business, indicated he had a weapon and stole some merchandise then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as:
– Fair skinned male
– Approximately 15 to 20 years old
– Brown hair with a goatee
– Slender build
– Wearing a white or light grey ball cap with “Loyalty” written in front, a black “Under Armour” hoodie with a grey hood, black and white Nike shoes with red laces.
Police believe there was someone waiting outside during the robbery.
Around 5:45pm yesterday, Prince George RCMP were called to a break and enter in progress at an apartment on the 900 block of Ahbau Street.
Two men with their faces covered broke a window and went into a ground floor apartment.
An adult and child were in the apartment at the time, but fled when they heard the window breaking.
The suspects spent some time in the apartment before leaving, but not before pointing what appeared to be a black handgun at the adult victim in the hallway.
Police believe they were looking for something specific, despite nothing was reportedly taken.
Police weren’t able to locate the suspects, despite the assistance of a police dog.
The suspects are both described as:
– Medium build and height
– One had Blue eyes
– Wearing a balaclava mask, black jacket and black pants. One had a ‘bomber’ style jacket.
In addition to these violent offences, a number of firearms were stolen from a rural residence just east of Prince George.
At approximately 3:15pm yesterday, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a residence on Grassland Road in the Shell-Glen area.
Officer discovered eight rifles and several electronics were stolen from the residence sometime during the day.
Police believe the suspect or suspects fled in a vehicle.
At this time, investigators don’t believe that these incidents are related.
Police would like to remind the public to be vigilant and report all suspicious activity to the police immediately.
