Minister of Forests and Lands Doug Donaldson commented today on US President Donald Trump’s claims that Canadian lumber imports are to blame for Californian wildfires.
According to Donaldson, Trump’s remarks are unfounded and there is no scenario in which his claims are possible.
Trump’s original comments claimed that Canadian lumber imports were more to blame for igniting fires in California than global warming.
