Minister of Transportation Claire Trevena met with representatives from the Village of Masset this morning to discuss concerns around ferry service in the north.
According to Masset Mayor Andrew Marilees a ferry service review undertaken by the government has now been completed and submitted to Trevena.
Marilees says that while discussions were not specific, Trevena assured him that the government would be looking very seriously at all the recommendations in the report.
The report is set to be released in the fall.
