A 35 year-old fisherman is missing off the BC central coast.
Bella Coola RCMP says the man was last seen Friday cleaning the deck of his commercial fishing vessel as it was returning to Bella Coola wharf from the North Bentick Arm Channel.
His last confirmed sighting was at 5:30 p.m. and he was noticed missing by the crew at 6:00.
The crew conducted a search of the area covered by the craft during that half hour period, but came up empty.
RCMP and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre were notified and a search operation was conducted from the air and water for three days.
The search was suspended Monday afternoon after no trace of the man was found.
RCMP continue to investigate the matter as a missing person case.
