North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice spoke today on the importance of the fishing industry to the provincial government and the communities they serve.
Rice’s comments come following this morning’s announcement of a Wild Salmon Advisory Council.
The new council will look in to ways to restore and sustain wild salmon populations.
