Mounties say a missing Prince George man may have been murdered.
Maxwell Harvey Mayling was last seen in October and was reported missing in November.
Prince George RCMP now say the 51-year-old Mayling may have been the victim of foul play and are treating his disappearance as a possible homicide.
Police believe Mayling is associated with the drug trade.
He was living in the Fort St. John area until the spring of 2016 when he moved to Prince George.
Since 2007, he has had police contact in Prince George, Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd and Fort Nelson, BC.
Mayling is described as First Nations, 5’9″ tall, weighing 180 lbs, with brown eyes, has salt and pepper hair, and wears glasses.
Police have located and seized his red 1995 4-door Ford Taurus in downtown Prince George.
Investigators are asking the public to provide any information they may have on Mayling or his disappearance.
