Rock the Indigenous Vote is a grassroots movement to mobilize indigenous people across the country to vote in the October 19 federal election.
Cara Currie-Hall is the founder of the movement.
She says indigenous people constitute a massive block of votes that can influence the outcome of the election.
She adds that by voting, indigenous people can take advantage of the political system to work in their advantage.
Currie-Hall encourages people to register to vote, go to the polls early, and to bring ten people with them.
