NDP Skeena riding candidates attend debate on First Nations issues

NDP candidates for the Skeena riding are holding a debate at Kitsumkalum Hall.

The debate focused on First Nations issues and took questions from residents who attended or submitted questions via email.

Terrace City Councillor Michael Prevost is one of the candidates. He says the debate can provide a lot of information for the NDP candidate to bring to the campaign.

Candidate Nicole Halbauer is also running and says Pacific NorthWest LNG is a topic residents are concerned about.

Sarah Zimmerman says economic development and health care are issues residents are hoping politicians can address.

Candidate Bruce Bidgood says First Nation consultations is an issue a lot of residents want addressed.
