Fort St John and Quesnel are featured on a list of communities that will benefit from new BikesBC grants.
Eighteen communities throughout the province will split 6.1 million dollars in support of greener transportation and more active lifestyles.
The funding will go towards projects that make cycling to work and other locations easier.
Quesnel will get just over 223 thousand to improve the Johnston Street Bridge, while Fort St John will benefit from over 430 thousand for a multi-use path on 93 Avenue.
