Two new boilers arriving at NWCC Terrace campus.

Northwest Community College’s Terrace campus has received two new boilers for it’s boiler replacement project.

The project will cost the school $1.5 million and was paid for through routine capital funding for the current year.

The new boilers will put out 5 million BTU’s and save the school approximately $40,000 a year in energy savings and cut carbon dioxide emissions by 200 tons.

Installation of the boilers have started and is expected to be completed by the end of March.
