Construction on a new Haisla Nation Health Centre is slated to wrap up by next winter.
Located in the Kitimaat Village, next to Childcare Centre, the new centre will add a telehealth room, physiotherapist centre, dental centre, and community kitchen.
Funding for the new centre comes from a combination of the Haisla Nation Council, the First Nations Health Authority, and Indigenous Services Canada.
