New Highway 16 passing lane

The Highway 16 corridor will be getting an additional passing lane between Prince George and Vanderhoof.

Work on the $2.68 million contract is to begin this month at Telacheck East Road, approximately 27 kilometres west of Prince George.

The province says the additional passing lane will help make travel safer for residents, tourists, and commercial drivers in the region as traffic continues to grow.

The work is being conducted by IDL Projects of Prince George and is slated to be done in late September.
